Greater Washington Jump$tart Reality Store

The Reality Store is a real world money management simulation activity designed specifically for middle and high school students. It is intended to help students learn how to make informed financial decisions as well as explore career choices. Through this simulated experience, students are actively engaged with financial experts, GWJ$ volunteers, and service providers to make and justify their own real-world financial decisions. As they move from station to station, participants will learn about setting clear goals and creating realistic spending and budgeting plans. The Reality Store simulation helps students to identify their needs versus wants and consider the long term impact of their spending decisions.
